A woman from Warsaw. It is a post-war portrait unearthed amidst a pile of Polish photographic archives. Her face is like a magnet, from another era, from elsewhere. During a week of wandering through the historic and popular district of Praga, I went in search for the unknown; a photographic research weaves itself through the images, redrawing the contours of her possible history. Giving free rein to my imagination, associating memory, personal feelings and these archives, perhaps I walked in the footsteps of this woman. Can my wanderings, when confronted with the memory that crosses these places, reveal the traces of an unknown person?
