A woman from Warsaw

It is a post-war portrait uncovered amid a mass of Polish photographic archives. Her face is like a magnet, from another era, from elsewhere in time. During a week of wandering through the historic and working-class district of Praga in Warsaw, I set out in search of an anonymous ; a photographic quest unfolds through the images, redrawing the contours of her possible story. Giving free rein to my imagination, combining memory, personal feelings and these archives, perhaps I have walked in this woman’s footsteps. Can my wanderings, faced with the memories that permeate these places, reveal the traces of a stranger?
